At Japanese Automotive Service, quality workmanship and exceptional customer service have been the foundation of our business since June 2000. Proudly located in Historic Downtown Hilliard, we have been serving our customers for over 26 years. We specialize in the repair and maintenance of Asian vehicles, including Honda, Toyota, Acura, Lexus, Subaru, Nissan, Infiniti, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, and Kia. We also service select domestic vehicles. Whether you need routine maintenance, complex diagnostics, or major repairs, our experienced team is committed to keeping your vehicle safe, reliable, and performing at its best.

Every repair is performed by experienced technicians using modern diagnostic equipment, current factory repair information, and proven repair procedures.

Our History

  • June 2000 — Opened our original location at 3729 North High Street in Clintonville.
  • June 2000 — Became a NAPA AutoCare Center.
  • September 2006 — Relocated to our current location in Historic Downtown Hilliard.
  • January 2018 — Partnered with NAPA TRACS as our shop management and invoicing system and participate in the NAPA TRACS Beta Program, helping evaluate and improve new software features.
  • August 2019 — Became the second NAPA Gold Certified AutoCare Center in Ohio.
  • March 2020 — Began using the ASI Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) System, allowing customers to receive detailed digital inspections complete with photos, technician notes, and service recommendations.
  • July 2022 — Became a proud sponsor of the inaugural Hilliard Freedom Fest, supporting the first festival held on July 2, 2022, and continuing our commitment to the Hilliard community.
  • Since 2000 — Proud Castrol Service Center.
Today, Japanese Automotive Service continues to combine experienced technicians, advanced diagnostic equipment, digital vehicle inspections, and quality parts to provide honest, dependable automotive service to our customers throughout Central Ohio. Whether you’re driving across town or across the country, your warranty is honored at more than 12,000 NAPA AutoCare Centers nationwide, giving you confidence wherever the road takes you.

Limited Warranty Information

This limited warranty is provided exclusively to the original purchaser of the repair service and is not transferable to future owners of the vehicle. The warranty is issued by Japanese Automotive Service, the independent repair facility that performed the repair, and is administered through the NAPA AutoCare nationwide warranty program by Sonsio Administrative Services, LLC.

Nationwide NAPA Peace of Mind Warranty

At Japanese Automotive Service, we stand behind the quality of our work. As a NAPA Gold Certified AutoCare Center, qualifying repairs are backed by the NAPA Peace of Mind® Nationwide Warranty, providing 36 months or 36,000 miles of coverage on qualifying parts and labor—whichever comes first.

Nationwide Protection

If you experience a warrantable repair while traveling, your warranty is honored at more than 12,000 participating NAPA AutoCare Centers throughout the United States. If you’re more than 25 miles from our shop, simply contact the NAPA Warranty Administrator at (800) 452-NAPA (6272) for assistance locating a participating repair facility.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Customer-supplied, used, or salvaged parts
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, or unauthorized modifications
  • Incidental or consequential damages
  • Repairs not specifically covered by the NAPA Nationwide Warranty
Commercial vehicles with a GVWR up to 19,500 lbs. are covered for 24 months or 24,000 miles. Complete warranty terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions are available at our service counter and are provided with your repair order.
